Abstract Wheat is cultivated worldwide and the most widely distributed food crop. a staple crop in many countries. However, effects of various cultivation methods on efficacy wheat sprouts have not been determined. This study investigated obtained using standardized smart farm system (WS-S) to improve non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) molecular mechanism. significantly attenuated accumulation lipid droplets FFA-induced HepG2 cells through AMPK pathway activity. In vivo experiments showed that WS-S lowered body weight gain decreased adipose tissue, lipid, aspartate transaminase, alanine aminotransferase levels HFD/F-treated mice. Furthermore, stimulated phosphorylation ACC peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha via inhibited SREBP-1/FAS signaling inhibit de novo adipogenesis increase acid oxidation. These results suggest ameliorates NAFLD by regulating metabolism pathway.
